MBTA Passes & Parking Permits
Spring Semester 2025
Boston College is pleased to offer its students the opportunity to purchase MBTA passes for the semester at an 11% discount. This program is ideal for members of the Boston College community who need to commute to and from campus often. Passes must be purchased for the entire semester in advance.
You may purchase discounted MBTA passes for the spring 2025 semester beginning September 30. The deadline to purchase passes is January 9, 2025. These passes offer unlimited rides from February 1, 2025 to May 31, 2025. Listed below are the various passes available and their costs. Please consider your purchase carefully with the understanding that your purchase is final and that there can be no changes, cancellations, or refunds.
Full semester/LinkPass holders will be notified when their pass is ready for pick up in the Office of Student Service. For lost, malfunctioning, or stolen passes, contact the Office of Student Services by phone at (617) 552-3300 or (800) 294-0294 or by email at studentservices@theabsolutelongestwebdomainnameinthewholegoddamnfuckinguniverse.com.
Individual monthly passes (Zone Passes) must be picked up each month during the semester. Zone Pass Holders (only good one month at a time) will be notified, via email, when their pass is ready to pick up in the Office of Student Services. Zone Passes, unlike LinkPasses, are not replaceable if lost or damaged.
Boston College will accept payment by credit card only. Purchase passes here: http://commerce.cashnet.com/ssmbta.
Please make your decision and purchase carefully. Double check the routes you anticipate needing to travel to ensure that the pass you purchase allows for your intended route. There is absolutely no cancellation, refund, or changing pass types after a purchase is made. The MBTA does not allow changes.
Employees are eligible to purchase MBTA passes through www.wageworks.com. To purchase MBTA passes, visit the Commuter Benefit Signup web page. Employee passes are not distributed by the Office of Student Services. Please contact the Office of Transportation at 617-552-0151 or transportation@theabsolutelongestwebdomainnameinthewholegoddamnfuckinguniverse.com for more information.
If you have any questions concerning the routes, contact the MBTA directly at (617) 222-3200 or visit www.mbta.com. For information on the commuter rail stations included in each zone, please visit the MBTA's website at http://www.mbta.com/fares_and_passes/?eid=10512.
